My Withdrawal and Return

Updated: May 21, 2023

So you may (or may not) have noticed that I've stepped away from regular updates as of late.

My cousin Alexa (whom I love dearly) extended the offer to come and stay with her, which I gratefully accepted. Following the close of 30 Days of Authenticity, I packed up and shifted gears for a move to the country.

While I loved my time with Alexa, and her daughter's Marissa and Miley (and son Patrick), what wasn't so easy for me to get adjusted to was life without regular internet, and I have subsequently returned back to Seattle.

At the time, I had enrolled in two leadership programs (the Inner MBA and U.Lab) was in the process of starting to crystallize my vision of We Are Just Us (which to be fair, I am still crystallizing and will continue to be through the end of 2020) and was actively looking for work. ALL of these things are online, let alone my heartfelt desire to stay connected and in contact with the people near and dear to me.

So I had to re-prioritize, I had to shift gears. I realized my energy was stretched too thin with the focus on these two leadership development programs, so I withdrew from the Inner MBA. I knew that I needed to focus more energy on securing employment.

All of this caused me to pull back from here, from the podcast, and from my regular updates.

That's not to say that I won't come in and update you all on what's going on in my life, it's just that with the launch of We Are Just Us, and my search for regular employment my energy is being focused in different routes.

I probably should tell you more about We Are Just Us, eh?

Next blog, I promise!
